Hello Everyone!
My blog post today is going to be about a few things that I have now added to my vintage collection.
Recently I have been re-decorating my bedroom into a french/vintage/shabby chic room. My love for vintage has been passed to me by my Mum.
She is obsessed with anything 20's,30's,40's and 50's, and I thank her for it because our house is full of little vintage teacups, radios, cameras and well anything you can think of!
Firstly I had a hunt on eBay to see if i could find anything for my room and I came across a few vintage tins and a book . . .
Above: "The Book For Girls"- This is a beautiful vintage book which cost me £3.99. BARGAIN.
(The image is not the best and you cannot see the tin at the back, hmm) That tin cost me £5.50, I thought this was slightly overpriced since I go into charity shops/car boots all the time and there is tins for 20p, 50p& £1. So to have to pay £5.50 was slightly over my usual price range. Buttttt I LOVE it so who cares how much it cost!.
The white tin to the right with the flowers on the front is one of my favorites because I think it is just so cute! I have a clock in my room with a similar patten and I find they look rather cute together:). This tin was £6.00 and once again rather expensive for a tin. However, it is vintage and beautiful so I guess i had to buy it.
Lastly from eBay was the pair of small tins which are located in the left corner. These two I wasn't sure on at first but after debating with myself I bought it and I haven't looked back since, I love the designs and think they are adorable. These also cost me £6.00.
I also had a little look in my local charity shop and found an adorable little clock(which matches the flowery tin) and a blue wooden box. I absolutely love charity shops because you find so many good vintage bargains and it all goes to a good cause! Why not buy something you love and help save someone's life at the same time!
Above are the two items I bought from the charity shop, I love them so much! And they cost me under £5! The clock was the first thing i noticed which cost me £1.50. I know what you're thinking... "Oh my God, did they mark it right?!" Actually, they didn't put a price on it at all she just said "Is £1.50 alright?" I was so shocked, I thought it would be £5 at least!
The wooden box cost me £3.00, I didn't notice it when I first walked over but after a second look I saw it and I am glad I did. It's lovely and I can use it for quite a lot of different things in my room.
I hope you liked my first larger post and hopefully soon my blog will look better as I am new to the whole "blogging business".
But for now,
Goodbye.
